Association “Roma Academy for Culture and Education” celebrated International Roma Day – April 8, with the Premiere of the book “Panorama of Roma Culture”. A unique book about Bulgaria and Europe, in which our talented and successful people, who are at the foundations of Bulgarian culture, are gathered in one place. The heroes of our time, our pride, the creators of Bulgaria – musicians, artists, men of letters, writers, professors, academics.

Stella Kostova – chairwoman of RAKO, welcomed all the guests to the event. The guests were welcomed by Tatyana Sultanova – national representative from 21MIR Sliven and Marincho Hristov – Regional administration of Sliven, who wished the participants to be themselves and to be always different and unique.

Some of the characters presented in the book took care of the good mood: the unique violinist Atanas Slavov, the king of the clarinet Orlin Pamukov, the magnificent Bulgarian actress Natalia Tsekova and the world-famous brass band “Karandila”.

The evening continued with music, fun and dancing. Stella Kostova gave all the guests a book with an autograph and a personal wish.

The activity is under the project “Panorama of Roma culture” under the program “Cultural entrepreneurship, heritage and cooperation”, with the financial support of the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEF) 2014-2021.
